CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE - PART-TIME

Country Visions Cooperative is looking to hire a part-time Customer Service Representative for our Menominee, Michigan location. This position will report to the Energy Adminstration Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Part-Time Customer Service Representative (CSR) supports customers by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and providing accurate information about County Visions Cooperative’s products and services. This role interacts with customers via phone, email, Connect, and in person, ensuring a positive and efficient customer experience.

 

Customer Communication

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, services, and policies
  • Deliver clear, accurate, and timely information across all communication channels

Issue Resolution

  • Address customer concerns and complaints professionally
  • Troubleshoot and resolve service or technical issues
  • Escalate complex or sensitive matters to appropriate personnel

Order Processing

  • Process customer orders and service requests
  • Calculate charges, process payments, and reconcile daily driver tickets

Record Keeping

  • Accurately document customer interactions in Energy Force and Connect
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date records for team visibility

Product Knowledge

  • Stay current on company products, services, and policies
  • Apply knowledge to effectively assist customers

Collaboration

  • Work closely with team members and other departments
  • Ensure consistent, positive customer and team experiences

Additional Duties

  • Reconcile daily driver trip reports (Propane & Petroleum)
  • Monitor forecasting and k-factor deviations
  • Create work orders for Operations Manager and/or Service Technicians
  • Scan work orders into Energy Image
  • Reconcile cash receipts and prepare bank deposits

Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Energy Operations.

Work schedule expectations

  • 2 or 3 working days per week
  • 7:30am – 4:30pm

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Prior Customer Service Experience preferred but not required
