PediCare Nursing Agency is hiring compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide one-on-one private duty nursing care for an infant in Shubuta, MS.

We currently have Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN opportunities available, with both day and night shifts. Shift times are flexible, allowing nurses to choose available hours that work best with their schedules.

POSITION DETAILS

Location: Shubuta, MS

Scheduling: Flexible self-scheduling – choose the available shifts YOU want to work

AVAILABLE SHIFTS

Night Shifts – Full-Time, Part-Time or PRN:

  • Sunday-Thursday: 10:00 PM–6:00 AM

  • Flexible shift times and multiple scheduling options available

Day Shifts – PRN:

  • PRN day shifts available with Flexible shift times

ABOUT THE CASE

Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for an infant pediatric patient in the comfort of their home.

Clinical needs include:

  • Tracheostomy care and airway management

  • Ventilator management and respiratory monitoring

  • G-tube feedings and care

  • Medication administration

  • Ongoing nursing assessment and monitoring

  • Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) and age-appropriate care

The assigned nurse will provide one-on-one care throughout the shift, allowing for focused assessment, intervention, and support of the patient and family.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide safe, skilled, and compassionate nursing care according to the physician's plan of care

  • Perform ongoing assessments and monitor for changes in patient condition

  • Provide tracheostomy care, suctioning, and airway management

  • Monitor and manage ventilator support according to the plan of care

  • Administer G-tube feedings, medications, treatments, and other ordered interventions

  • Monitor respiratory status and respond appropriately to changes in condition

  • Assist with age-appropriate activities of daily living and care

  • Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation

  • Communicate changes or concerns appropriately with the clinical team

  • Educate and support the patient's family regarding home-care needs

REQUIREMENTS

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Mississippi

  • Current BLS certification

  • Current TB screening within the past 12 months

  • Ability to meet all required state background screening requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience

  • Pediatric, private duty, tracheostomy, or ventilator experience is a plus
