Industrial Security Specialist
The Opportunity:
Be responsible for administering and safeguarding classified information at the Secret and Confidential levels in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), DoD regulations, and organizational security policies. Ensure full compliance with personnel, physical, and information security requirements while supporting cleared employees, government customers, and program stakeholders. Ensure compliance with NISPOM, DoD, and agency-specific security requirements. Develop and deliver security education and awareness programs. Ensure proper classification markings and handling procedures are followed. Coordinate alarm systems, visitor control, and classified workspaces. Identify, document, and report security incidents or violations and prepare corrective action plans with associated risk mitigation measures. Maintain accurate security records and databases, prepare security status reports and metrics for management and customers, and coordinate closely with Program Managers, the CPSO, and government security representatives.
You Have:
  • Experience managing Collateral Secret or non-SCI classified information
  • Knowledge of NISPOM and DoD security procedures
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in industrial, government, or contractor security, or 7+ years of experience in industrial, government, or contractor security in lieu of a degree

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,300.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
