Position Summary
The Part time Cook is responsible for preparing high‑quality meals in a fast‑paced kitchen environment while maintaining food safety, cleanliness, and efficiency. This role ensures that all menu items are prepared according to company standards, supports kitchen operations, and contributes to a positive guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation & Cooking

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and portion guidelines.
  • Ensure food quality, taste, presentation, and consistency meet company standards.
  • Set up and stock workstations with necessary ingredients, equipment, and utensils.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently (ovens, grills, fryers, knives, etc.).

Food Safety & Cleanliness

  • Follow all food safety regulations, including proper storage, labeling, and temperature control.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized workstation throughout shifts.
  • Adhere to health and safety policies, including safe food handling procedures.
  • Perform cleaning duties such as dishwashing, sweeping, and equipment cleaning as needed.

Teamwork & Communication

  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely service.
  • Communicate any shortages, issues, or concerns to supervisors promptly.
  • Support training of new kitchen team members when required.
