Part-Time Cook – 32 Hours per Pay Period

Milwaukee, WI | 9:30 AM–6:00 PM | 4 Shifts per Pay Period (every two weeks)

The School Sisters of St. Francis are looking for a dependable and caring Part-Time Cook to join our Food Services team and help prepare enjoyable, nutritious meals for our retired religious Sisters. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a predictable part-time schedule in a warm, mission-driven environment.


Schedule

  • Part-time: 32 hours per pay period
  • 4 scheduled shifts per pay period
  • 9:30 AM–6:00 PM
  • Every other weekend required
  • No benefits are offered with this part-time position

What You'll Do

As a Cook, you'll help ensure residents receive nutritious, appetizing meals prepared according to established menus, dietary requirements, and food-safety standards.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and cooking meals according to established menus
  • Following special diets and individual dietary requirements
  • Preparing food in appropriate quantities and maintaining proper portion control
  • Ensuring food is prepared, stored, and served safely
  • Following proper sanitation and food-safety procedures
  • Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and food-preparation areas
  • Assisting with meal service and presentation
  • Monitoring food supplies and communicating inventory needs
  • Working cooperatively with dining services and care staff
  • Treating residents with kindness, dignity, and respect
