RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prepares and properly garnishes all food orders in accordance with menu specifications under the guidance of the Kitchen Manager
  • Organizes and maintains work areas, coolers and storage areas
  • Serves food that is safe to eat, fresh and visually appealing
  • Cleans and sanitizes work station according to cleaning schedule
  • Creates 100% guest satisfaction by providing the Radisson Blu experience through performance that demonstrates the standards of, genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectation
  • Performs other duties as required by Management to provide 100% Guest Satisfaction and genuine hospitality to our Guests

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be 18 years of age, or older
  • Minimum one years of cooking experience, preferably in an upscale high volume environment
  • Culinary degree preferred
  • Must be able to speak, read and understand basic cooking directions
  • Knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette
  • Attention to detail
  • Must have excellent attendance and reliability and have flexibility in terms of working hours
  • Must possess the ability to handle multiple tasks

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Long hours are sometimes required, ability to work flexible schedule
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, frequent bending, occasionally stoop or crawl
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and push or pull up to 150 pounds
  • Good manual dexterity for the use of common office and kitchen equipment
