Job description

Local Construction Company is seeking a dependable and motivated Skilled Construction Technician to assist with residential and commercial construction projects throughout the Las Vegas area.

This is a hands-on field position supporting our Superintendent with a variety of construction and remodeling tasks including carpentry, drywall, painting, cabinet installation, punch work, repairs, and general construction support.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, shows up consistently, communicates well, and wants to grow with a company long-term.

Responsibilities
- Assist with residential and commercial construction projects
- Drywall patching and repairs
- Interior and exterior painting
- Cabinet installation and adjustments
- Basic finish carpentry and trim work
- Punch-list and repair work
- Demo and jobsite preparation
- Material handling and cleanup
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Maintain organized and professional job sites

Preferred Experience
- Carpentry and remodeling experience
- Drywall and paint experience
- Cabinet installation experience is a plus
- Experience with hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read a tape measure and follow direction
- General construction or maintenance experience preferred
- OSHA 30 certification preferred

Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
