Job description

Social Media Content Creator

Department: Global Marketing
Location: Provo, UT
Type: Full-time or part-time, depending on candidate

About Us

Unicity is dedicated to developing innovative, science-based products and programs that promote metabolic health and improve the quality of life for people everywhere. For over 30 years, Unicity has been dedicated to developing high-quality products that contain the vital nutrients your body needs. With the proper process, cutting-edge technology, and a mission to Make Life Better, Unicity is paving the way for a better tomorrow.

About the Role

We're looking for someone to own our day-to-day presence on Instagram and Facebook — not as a scheduler, but as the person actually driving the brand tone and image on Meta. You'll chart the direction, craft the tone and create the content to drive it home. This will cover everything from shooting and editing native video, trimming and polish footage into reels that convey quality, identify partners and affiliates to collaborate with, and leverage AI to stay on top. Also key to the role is spending real time every day in the comments and DMs to build relationships with our community and the partners who represent us.

This is a hands-on, camera-and-laptop role. You'll be judged less on a resume and more on what you've already built: if you've grown a page, a channel, or a following from nothing, we want to see it and hear how you did it.

What You'll Do

Manage our day-to-day social channels — Instagram and Facebook — including responding to DMs and comments promptly and in a way that sounds like a real person, not a script.

Produce native content and trim/polish video that keeps our product positioning premium. No hard pitches, no overreaching claims — the content should craft a sense of pride that they use our products, and generate a desire to do so in people who come across our pages.

Spend time proactively browsing Instagram: commenting on partner videos, engaging with relevant accounts, and doing the unglamorous work of raising our visibility one comment at a time.

Track what's trending on each platform and adapt it to fit our brand and our audience, rather than copying a format wholesale.

Work closely with the broader marketing team to keep everything you post aligned with campaigns, launches, and the brand's voice.

What We're Looking For

Required

  • Exceptional photo and video production skills (especially with an iPhone) — from concept through final edit.

  • Strong command of composition, visual storytelling, hook, setup, and payoff.

  • A natural curiosity about AI content tools and emerging technologies — you're not waiting to be told about them, you're already using them.

  • A high-energy, entrepreneurial mindset — you're self-directed, proactive, and driven to make great work.

  • Show us a page or channel you've actually built and grown. This is the single most important thing on this list, send the account, tell us how it grew, and what you did to make that happen.

  • Comfortable being behind the camera and in front of it, and confident editing on mobile.

  • Native fluency in Instagram and Facebook — you know what performs on each platform and why, not just that video does well.

  • A sense for when content is drifting from "premium and native" into "salesy," and the instinct to pull it back.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with direct-to-consumer or affiliate marketing models, where the audience already has a relationship with the brand before they ever see your content.

  • Experience ideally at a DTC or subscription brand.

In addition to competitive pay we can offer:

  • Heath, Dental, Vision, Life and other benefits that begin within a month

  • Paid maternity and paternity leave

  • Generous vacation allowance in addition to company paid holidays

  • 401(k) with company match

  • Substantial company product allowance

  • Reimbursement for internet, cell phone and gym/wellness activities
