You will support access control, respond to alarms, communicate professionally with staff and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities within a healthcare and medical device environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, production areas, laboratories, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and reports in accordance with site policies.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities clearly and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
