Job description

We are looking for an experienced Dietician to join our team at our Eating Disorder Treatment Center in Weatherford!
Job Summary:
The Dietitian at Eating Disorder Solutions (EDS) provides specialized nutritional care to clients recovering from eating disorders and co-occurring conditions. This role is responsible for developing individualized meal plans, conducting nutritional assessments, leading food-related education sessions, and collaborating with the clinical team to support holistic recovery. The Dietitian ensures that all nutrition services are delivered with compassion, clinical integrity, and in accordance with evidence-based practices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Complete initial and ongoing nutritional assessments for all clients.
  • Develop and monitor individualized meal plans tailored to therapeutic and medical needs.
  • Collaborate with chefs and culinary staff to ensure all meals align with dietary recommendations.
  • Facilitate weekly nutrition education groups and meal support sessions.
  • Provide one-on-one nutrition counseling and address food-related concerns.
  • Work closely with the clinical and medical team on care planning and weight restoration protocols.
  • Track and document nutritional progress, intake, challenges, and interventions in the EMR.
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and case conferences.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of eating disorder treatment standards and emerging research.
  • Support kitchen staff training and meal prep policies to ensure therapeutic integrity and safety.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential required.
  • Current licensure to practice as a Dietitian in the state of Texas.
  • 1–2 years of experience in eating disorder treatment preferred.
  • Strong understanding of HAES®, intuitive eating, and trauma-informed nutrition counseling models.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary treatment team.
  • Excellent communication, empathy, and counseling skills.
Job Type: Part-time, contract; non-exempt
Pay Range: $37.00 - $45.67/hr
Schedule:
  • Monday through Friday; 5:00pm - 8:00pm
