Job description

A part-time internship supporting the Social Media Manager for Cameron Mitchell Restaurants. The Social Media Intern assists with various projects, including but not limited to:
  • Content curation for specialty brands with guidance from Social Media Manager
    • Includes copywriting & video editing
  • Proofing design and copy for social posts, ads, e-blasts, press releases & menus
  • Competitor research focused on social media campaigns
  • Creating graphics in Canva
  • Monitoring social media comments and mentions (including Facebook, Instagram)
  • Research potential influencer partnerships
  • Supporting restaurant openings and events (preview dinner invites, opening materials, organizing lists, etc.)
  • Saving photoshoot galleries
  • Weekly social trends report (staying on top of social media trends)
  • Support with partner photoshoots
  • Attending content shoots with Social Media Manager
  • Updating marketing conference room with current creative
  • Gift card fulfillment/support to team
  • Holiday social media research (i.e. Milkshake Day, Food Service Workers' Day etc.)
  • Loyalty program research specifically social media-based
  • General administrative support to the Social Media Manager & Marketing Department

Hours: 20 hours per week
Key requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in undergraduate studies
  • Must be familiar with Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn & Facebook
  • Must have experience with editing & creating Reels
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have transportation to Home Office and offsite photoshoots
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
