Job description

We are a fast paced local insurance agency looking for a reliable, creative, and detail oriented person to join our team. This part time role will provide administrative support for our growing business. Daily tasks will include answering phones, data collection, data entry, & account maintenance. This role will also be responsible for creating and managing our social media content and branding efforts. This is an in office position and not a remote capable role. Insurance licensing is not required for this role.

Responsibilities

Administrative Support

  • Front office support
  • Answer phones, take messages, collect info for service & quote requests
  • Process proof of insurance requests
  • Make outbound courtesy service calls & reminder calls
  • Collection and compilation of data for renewal processing
  • Data entry and transferring of info to new files and accounts
  • Assist agency on various service & account cleanup projects as needed


Social Media Management

  • Create social media content utilizing Canva program
  • Manage the social media calendar under direction of Agency Operations Manager
  • Ensure timelines & important posting dates are consistently met
  • Schedule time to record video content as needed

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year office experience required

Must be computer & technology savvy and able to pick up new systems quickly

oMust be proficient with Microsoft systems

oHeavy usage of Excel & Adobe Acrobat

Must be able to type well, use proper grammar, & accurate spelling
