Common Search IntentPart Time Concrete jobsPart Time Masonry jobs

Part Time Concrete and Part Time Masonry roles often share similar credentials and work environments, but they focus on different skills within construction. Concrete workers primarily handle pouring and finishing concrete, while masonry workers focus on brick and stonework. Both roles are essential in construction projects and are often searched for by those seeking part-time opportunities in the industry.

What are part-time concrete workers?

Part-time concrete workers are individuals who perform concrete-related tasks, such as mixing, pouring, leveling, and finishing concrete, but work fewer hours than full-time employees. They may assist with building sidewalks, driveways, foundations, and other structures that require concrete. Part-time positions are ideal for those seeking flexible schedules or supplemental income. These workers often support construction crews, follow safety guidelines, and use various tools and equipment related to concrete work.

What is the highest paying concrete job?

The highest paying concrete jobs typically include concrete project managers, superintendents, and specialized concrete estimators, who often earn higher salaries due to experience, certifications, and leadership responsibilities. Skilled trades such as concrete finishers and form setters also earn competitive wages, especially with overtime and union benefits.

Are concrete workers in demand?

Concrete workers are generally in demand due to ongoing construction projects and infrastructure development. Skilled workers with experience in pouring, finishing, and operating related tools are especially sought after in the industry.

What job makes $10,000 a month without a degree?

A part-time concrete worker typically does not earn $10,000 a month; high earnings in construction usually require full-time work, experience, or specialized skills. Jobs that can reach such income levels without a degree often include sales, real estate, or entrepreneurship, but these are not specific to concrete work. Most high-paying roles without a degree involve sales skills, certifications, or business ownership rather than part-time manual labor.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Part Time Concrete Worker, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Part Time Concrete Worker, you need basic knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, finishing techniques, and often a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with tools such as mixers, trowels, screeds, and sometimes experience with power equipment or OSHA safety certifications is valuable. Strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and teamwork are important soft skills for this role. These skills and qualities ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality completion of concrete projects, even in physically demanding environments.

Is concrete a good side hustle?

Part time concrete work involves tasks like mixing, pouring, and finishing concrete, often requiring physical strength and knowledge of tools. It can be a viable side hustle for those with construction experience or skills in operating related equipment, but it typically involves outdoor work and variable schedules. Earnings depend on project size and location, and safety certifications may be beneficial.

What are some common challenges faced by part-time concrete workers, and how can they be managed effectively?

Part-time concrete workers often encounter challenges such as adapting to varying job sites, managing physically demanding tasks, and aligning their schedules with full-time crews. To manage these, it's helpful to maintain clear communication with supervisors about availability, use proper safety equipment, and stay up-to-date with best practices for concrete mixing and pouring. Building good relationships with team members and being proactive about learning site-specific protocols can also help ensure a smoother workflow and safer work environment.

Youth Development Professional - Concrete

Boys & Girls Clubs of Skagit County

Concrete, WA

$19.45 - $20.63/hr

Part-time

Posted 10 days ago

Job description

Youth Development Professional
Part-Time | Boys & Girls Clubs of Skagit County
$19.45 – $20.63 per hour DOE/DOQ (+$2.00/hour Concrete differential)
18–22 hours per week | Monday–Friday

In a small community, people notice who shows up.

We're looking for a Youth Development Professional to join our Concrete team-someone who enjoys working with youth, isn't afraid to jump into the action, and understands that making a difference often starts with simply being present.

At the Club, you'll help create a place where youth can learn, explore, build friendships, and have fun. One day you might be leading a game, helping with homework, or teaching a new skill. The next, you might be helping a member work through a challenge or celebrating a success they didn't think was possible. Every day brings new opportunities to encourage, support, and inspire.

We're looking for someone who is dependable, positive, and willing to take initiative. In a small town, resilience and teamwork go a long way. If you're the type of person who sees what needs to be done and jumps in to help, you'll fit right in.

This position requires meeting Washington State requirements for licensed childcare, including completing background checks, required training, and health documentation such as a TB test and proof of MMR vaccination or immunity.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old. Staff working with middle school youth must be at least 21 years old, and staff working with high school youth must be at least 23 years old.

Experience working with youth is helpful, but what matters most is your ability to connect with young people, build positive relationships, and bring enthusiasm to each day.

If you're looking for meaningful work, a supportive team, and the chance to make a lasting impact in your community, we'd love to see your application.
