Part-time Accountant

ABOUT THE COMPANY

  • Our client is a leading organization in the Columbus market.
  • They are a growing company looking to add a part-time Accountant to their team.

  • Looking for a long-term partner for their accounting group.


RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PART-TIME ACCOUNTANT:

  • The part-time Accountant will summarize details in separate ledgers and transfer data to general ledger.
  • The part-time Accountant will verify, allocate and post details of business transactions to general ledger.
  • Reconcile and balance accounts.
  • Compile reports to show cash receipts and expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, profit and loss, and other items pertinent to operation of business.
  • Process accounts payable weekly.
  • Generate monthly statements to customers.
  • Complete records to or though trial balance.
  • The part-time Accountant will support month-end close process.
  • 20-25 hours per week.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE OF THE PART-TIME ACCOUNTANT:
  • Accounts payable experience is a must
  • General accounting experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid computer skills-including Excel
  • Friendly and willing to help where necessary

Salary Range: $21 - $26 per hour based on experience. This is an in-office position.
