Description
This position is open to current internal employees only.
Examples of Duties
  • Installs, upgrades and troubleshoots all software, hardware and audio-visual equipment for labs, classrooms, and faculty and staff computers and associated hardware
  • Assists faculty and staff with requests for assistance
  • Assists with troubleshooting problems in collaboration with ITS team
  • Sets up, provides support, and breaks down college-related events including but not limited to broadcasting between college locations
  • Assists with telecommunications and network connectivity issues as needed
  • Performs related duties as assigned

Typical Qualifications
Education:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Associate's degree or equivalent certifications in Computer Information Systems preferred
Experience:
  • Experience working with Windows (e.g.,11)

Competencies and Skills:
  • Knowledge of computer repair
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

Supplemental Information
Terms of Employment:
This position is primarily located at the Mays Landing campus but requires flexible scheduling to include evenings and weekends and duties at any Atlantic Cape location.
Paid sick leave in accordance with NJ Sick Leave Law
Eligible part-time employees will be enrolled into the Employees contribute 5% of their base salary and the college contributes 3% of base salary. Investment options are managed through Life insurance benefits through DCRP are payable to the beneficiary at 1.5X the member's salary.
