Job description

The Compliance Coordinator position is a part-time role, responsible for coordinating the 3-month review process for the Senior Living Memory Health, Inc. program. The main responsibilities of the Compliance Manager are:


1. 3-Month Progress Review Approval and Completion of Treatment Plan/Progress note set up

This includes conducting the review process in full for a minimum of 20 patients weekly (10 hours). Patients can be in any region.

a. Create a Trello card for patients and follow the checklist to include alerting clinician that the progress review is due, ensuring the review is completed, then approving the review with an audit of 3 notes per chart, completing audit report, and then creating a new treatment plan, and new progress note with progress boxes deleted and interventions chosen.

b. Meeting with clinicians in the progress review process weekly. Providing feedback and guidance on the completion of the review and progress notes along with confirmation of the new treatment plan.

c. Secondary review for those clinicians that need to make changes to ensure changes are being made.

d. Audit of cases for unsigned notes, change in diagnosis codes, duration, duplication, and general compliance.


2. Documentation Requests

Checking the Requests board daily to ensure that last minute review and/or treatment plans are set up, clinicians training on documentation or requests for training and managed, and ensuring that our orientation and field staff are supported.


3. Monthly Nurse Compliance Update

Each month, creating Attestation Reviews in the EHR for the collaborating physician to sign off. This includes reviewing the notes across 3 months and ensuring that each nurse receives a quarterly attestation.


Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in or pursuing a BSW, MSW, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Healthcare Administration, or related degree program preferred
  • Strong ability to review clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance.
  • Ability to manage multiple patient reviews, deadlines, audits, and follow-up items each week.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to provide clear, professional feedback and guidance to clinicians.
  • Comfortable learning and working with EHR systems, Trello, spreadsheets, and Microsoft/Google applications, with the ability to work independently and follow established processes.
