Job Title: Warehouse Security Officer
Department: Security
Reports to: Security Supervisor
Shift: Monday - Friday 7a-11a and Saturday 7a-7p
Wage: $15.30/hour

Job Summary:
The Warehouse Security Officer is responsible for safeguarding the physical assets and personnel of the warehouse facility during non-business hours. This includes patrolling the premises, monitoring security systems, responding to alarms, and investigating and reporting any incidents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular foot patrols of the warehouse interior and exterior, inspecting for signs of unauthorized access, vandalism, or suspicious activity.
  • Monitor security cameras and alarm systems, responding to any alerts promptly and taking appropriate action.
  • Investigate security incidents, gather evidence, and prepare detailed incident reports.
  • Control access to the warehouse, ensuring that only authorized personnel are allowed entry.
  • Deter theft and vandalism by maintaining a visible security presence.
  • Assist with emergency response procedures as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date security logs and records.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid security guard license.
  • Prior experience in security or law enforcement is preferred.
  • Strong physical and mental stamina.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and observation skills.
