Locations: Various assignments throughout Broward and Miami-Dade Counties, Florida

Compensation: $20โ€“$35 per hour

Training: Paid training provided

Praetorian Guard Security and Executive Protection is seeking dependable, observant, and professional individuals to join our team as Private Security Professionals. Successful candidates will help protect clients, personnel, visitors, and property at various locations throughout Broward and Miami-Dade Counties.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a visible and professional security presence
  • Conduct foot and vehicle patrols
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas
  • Enforce client rules, access-control procedures, and post orders
  • Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and security concerns
  • Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies
  • Prepare accurate daily activity and incident reports
  • Assist clients, employees, residents, guests, and members of the public
  • Coordinate with supervisors, property management, and law enforcement when necessary
  • Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct at all times
Minimum Qualifications
  • Current Florida Class โ€œDโ€ Security Officer License
  • At least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
  • Professional appearance and communication skills
  • Ability to remain alert and exercise sound judgment
  • Ability to stand, walk, and conduct patrols for extended periods
  • Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Ability to pass applicable background screening and employment requirements
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current Florida Class โ€œGโ€ Statewide Firearm License
  • Previous security, military, law-enforcement, corrections, emergency-management, or customer-service experience
  • CPR, First Aid, or AED certification
  • Experience with access control, mobile patrol, residential security, commercial security, event security, or executive protection
  • Strong report-writing and conflict-resolution skills
Compensation

Pay ranges from $20 to $35 per hour, depending on the employeeโ€™s licensure, training, experience, qualifications, and the requirements of the specific assignment.

Paid, assignment-specific training will be provided. Applicants must already possess a valid Florida Class โ€œDโ€ Security Officer License. A Florida Class โ€œGโ€ Statewide Firearm License is preferred and may qualify applicants for additional assignments and higher compensation.
