Job description

Crossroads Health, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with facilities located in Mentor, Painesville, and Cleveland, serves Northeast Ohio communities with comprehensive behavioral and primary integrated healthcare, early childhood services, extended housing and recovery services-no matter one's ability to pay. Our mission is to provide hope, healing, and healthcare to everyone
The part-time (24 hrs. per week) Marketing and Communications Specialist reports to the Director of Development and supports all departments and service locations of Crossroads Health through creative and strategic marketing and communications efforts. This dual role is responsible for social media management, content creation, writing, graphic design, and community relations as well as managing the organization's donor relations CRM, supporting accurate data tracking, donor engagement, and fundraising communications. The Marketing and Communications Specialist will provide administrative and communications support to the Grants Manager, including grant-related materials, reporting support, and coordination across departments.
In addition, this role is responsible for:
Marketing: Developing, implementing, and evaluating the annual marketing and communications plan across key audiences and channels. Creating and sharing content that engages audiences and generates measurable action. Raising the profile of Crossroads Health and key staff through media outreach and community involvement.
Collaboration: Works closely with Development, IT/IS, and leadership to maintain an up-to-date website, CRM, socials, and mar/comm digital and print materials.
Communication: Supporting fundraising by implementing a consistent philanthropic focus throughout our communications vehicles. Managing the development, distribution, and maintenance of all print and electronic collateral and communications, including, but not limited to, newsletters, brochures, event content, social media and website.
Reporting: Continuously testing, measuring and optimizing the effectiveness of marketing and communications against objectives. Regularly collecting metrics, endorsements and success stories that can be showcased in grant proposals, newsletters and reports.
Education:
-High School Diploma or equivalent required/ Bachelor's degree in marketing-related field preferred.
Requirements:
-Three (3) years working in a non-profit environment and a part of a development team.
-Demonstrated writing skills to create exciting and accessible content in posts, newsletters, website content and press releases.
-Must have hands-on experience managing an donor relations CRM.
- Basic design experience in creating social media graphics, headers, and document layouts, using the Adobe Suite, Canva, or similar programs. Working knowledge of marketing automation systems and applications.
