New Part-Time Personal Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Position

Job Summary

Senior Helpers - Denver is seeking a caring and compassionate individual to join our team as a part-time Personal Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the Denver Metro area. As a CNA, you'll provide essential non-medical assistance to seniors in their homes. Your role will involve helping with daily tasks and activities, ensuring our clients' safety, and promoting their independence while respecting their dignity. Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as grooming, dressing, and toileting
  • Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks
  • Accompany clients to appointments and assist with errands
  • Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients
  • Communicate with clients' families to provide updates on their loved one's well-being
  • Report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the appropriate personnel
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  •  A clean driving record

Requirements

  • MUST have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. MUST show proof of insurance
  • Must have CNA training and certification
  • Ability to pass background check
  • Previous experience in a caregiving or related role preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and follow a care plan
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed
  • Ongoing training, seminars, and compliance keep our team sharp & our clients well-served 
  • Active Colorado CNA license in good standing
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States 
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist clients with mobility, transfers, standing, bending, and other physical caregiving tasks
