Established in 2020, Winder CNA Training is a state-accredited program that prepares individuals for careers as Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) in Georgia. The program offers a blend of online learning and hands-on training, providing students with the flexibility and skills they need to succeed in the healthcare field. Winder CNA Training also offers Basic Life Support, Certified Medication Aide, and Emergency Preparedness Courses.
Job Description
Winder CNA Training is seeking an LPN or RN Nurse Instructor. The Instructor will deliver instruction according to our curriculum designed to help students build the knowledge and clinical skills needed to pass the Georgia CNA licensing exam. Instructors must be able to work effectively with students from diverse socioeconomic and educational backgrounds.

Specific Responsibilities
1. Teach the course curriculum as outlined in the Blended Learning Program Skills Manual, using the companion instructor's guide.
2. Build knowledge and develop clinical skills aimed at helping students obtain the CNA license.
3. Maintain accurate records on all students, including attendance records, schedules, and course requirements regarding hours of instruction and content.
4. Evaluate and document students' progress through testing, observation, and assessment of skills attained.
5. Communicate effectively with students and all affiliated parties, including staff at clinical training facilities, school staff, and prospective employers.
6. Provide a stimulating environment that encourages student participation, interpersonal skills development, and concepts of good patient care.
7. Maintain a monthly timesheet and submit it by required deadlines.
8. Perform all other duties as assigned by the Program Owner.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Must hold an active Georgia Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse license and not be subject to any current disciplinary action.
2. Must have at least two years of nursing experience, with at least one year in Long Term Care.
3. Upon hire, the applicant must complete the Alliant Health Train the Trainer Session.
4. Ability to perform physical work with patients and students in a clinical setting.
5. Ability to lift at least 20 lbs.
6. Flexibility to work days, and eventually nights and evenings on occasion.
