Job Summary

The University of North Georgia, Department of Nursing is accepting applications for a part-time clinical faculty member to teach in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities include clinical supervision and evaluation of nursing students in fundamentals, adult health, pediatric health, obstetric health, mental health, and community health settings.
  • The clinical agencies are located in metro Atlanta and the surrounding counties.
  • Responsibilities also include teaching undergraduate nursing students in the clinical setting/hospital or agency.
  • Faculty will be required to attend meetings as warranted, attend hospital-based orientations, if applicable and grade associated clinical papers.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree required.
  • Minimum of two years' recent experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current license in Georgia as a registered professional nurse required.
