Job Description

Dexterra Signauture Dining (a part of Dexterra Group) is looking for a talented Social Media & Engagement Coordinator. This position will be primarily located in the city of Guelph.

  • Proficient in creating a variety of Social Media content that is aligned to the Dana brand and juggling multiple handles on behalf of multiple Dana units.
  • Collect and create content to populate these handles with engaging, relevant, and value-adding material for customers.
  • Send weekly reports regarding social media KPIs to Dana’s national lead of Social Media and organically grow Digital Footprint Month-Month.
  • Interact with customers to gauge customer satisfaction regarding Food Services and liaise with Dana’s management team providing the pain points and work towards integrating solutions in our operations.
  • Work with the food service team to generate excellent digital content regarding food processes, new offerings, and leverage cultural trends.
  • Respond to questions, inquiries, and suggestions about Food Services with a winsome and professional manner to create a strong digital customer service culture.
  • Determine multiple stakeholders within the unit and look for opportunities to collaborate to amplify digital viewership and build our brand.
  • Manage Dana’s E-Commerce environment for pre-ordering and keep it up to date with new products and offerings.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat) for diverse units or business verticals (e.g., Retail and Higher Education).

  • Strong background in content creation, including photo, video, and audio capture and editing, with the ability to produce high-quality, engaging material using both mobile devices and professional software.

  • Maintain access to a reliable personal vehicle to support onsite visits, content capture, and event execution.

  • Proficiency with editing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, or similar platforms to create impactful and visually compelling content.

  • Competent in creating marketing collateral such as posters, signage, digital displays, loyalty cards, and branded materials that align with Dexterra's visual identity and standards.

  • Experience in building and managing E-Commerce platforms, particularly for food service or hospitality-related environments.

  • Ability to interpret and act on social media performance metrics (e.g., Impressions, Reach, Engagement, Follower Growth), and generate regular performance reports with strategic recommendations for improvement.

  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple content streams, deadlines, and unit needs simultaneously while maintaining consistent brand messaging.

  • Confident and personable communicator with strong customer service skills and the ability to actively engage with customers during tabling, sampling, polling, and event support activities.

  • Hands-on, hospitality-focused approach with an eye for detail and the ability to troubleshoot and adapt quickly during live events and activations.

  • Self-starter with a proactive attitude, creative flair, and strong time management skills in fast-paced, multitasking environments.
