Annapolis Area Christian School (AACS) is seeking caring, dependable, and Christ-centered Child Care Facilitators to join our Before and After Care team at one of our Lower School campuses.
At AACS, we believe every interaction is an opportunity to demonstrate the love of Christ. As a Child Care Facilitator, you will help create a welcoming environment where students feel known, valued, and cared for while providing engaging activities that support their social, emotional, and spiritual growth.

Typical Schedule
Monday-Friday
  • Morning Program: 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.
  • Afternoon Program: 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Hours may vary based on campus needs and school calendar.
What You'll Do
As a Child Care Facilitator, you will:
  • Provide attentive supervision to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
  • Build positive relationships with children through encouragement, respect, and Christ-like care.
  • Lead and participate in games, crafts, homework assistance, outdoor play, and other age-appropriate activities.
  • Create a welcoming environment where every child feels valued and included.
  • Encourage positive behavior while helping students develop healthy social skills.
  • Communicate professionally with parents, faculty, and staff.
  • Follow the direction of the Before & After Care Supervisor and support daily program operations.
  • Maintain attendance records and follow school policies and safety procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience caring for or working with children in a school, childcare, camp, church, or similar setting.
  • Genuine enjoyment of working with elementary-aged children.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Dependable, organized, and able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Ability to actively supervise children in both indoor and outdoor environments.
  • CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Coursework or experience in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field.
  • One or more years of experience working with children in a structured educational or childcare setting.
