Job Specifics
Location: 1201 Park Ave, Oconto, WI 54153
FTE Status: Casual Part-Time
Work Schedule: Mornings, evenings, and weekends, flexible with hours of fitness center operations

Job Description:
Promotes a safe environment that will guarantee the safety and well-being of aquatic participants through preventative lifeguarding, attentive alertness, and by being aware of portentous areas of danger.
Qualifications:
Current American Red Cross Lifeguarding certification or YMCA Lifeguarding certification along with Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, and First-Aid Certification required (American Red Cross Lifeguard Training preferred).
Lifeguards are required to swim 500 yards (using the front crawl and breaststroke) and practice back boarding (under the supervision of the Aquatic Coordinator) at least once a session. Must be a minimum of 15 years of age.
