What is a part time CCTV operator?

Part Time CCTV jobs involve monitoring security cameras and surveillance systems on a part-time basis to ensure the safety and security of premises. Employees in these roles may work for businesses, schools, retail stores, or security companies and are responsible for observing live camera feeds, reporting suspicious activity, and sometimes reviewing recorded footage. These positions typically require attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and sometimes basic technical knowledge of surveillance equipment. Shifts can vary and may include evenings or weekends depending on the employer's needs.
