Position Overview

We are seeking experienced CCTV Technicians to support a nationwide security system deployment project. This role requires extensive travel and hands-on experience with CCTV systems, Cat6 cabling, network infrastructure, and low-voltage installations. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and the flexibility to work at distribution centers across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and repair IP-based CCTV and video surveillance systems.
  • Install CCTV cameras, Cat6 cabling, network switches, cabinets, and associated hardware.
  • Test and terminate Cat6 cabling and CCTV infrastructure.
  • Run low-voltage cabling, including drilling through concrete walls and performing limited conduit work.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, site maps, and installation drawings.
  • Perform system testing, commissioning, and quality assurance checks.
  • Troubleshoot network switches, routers, and WiFi connectivity issues.
  • Assist with technical planning, pre-installation assessments, and solution design.
  • Complete installation documentation, closeout packages, and MDF documentation.
  • Collaborate with project managers and team leads to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
  • Provide technical support and escalation assistance both onsite and remotely.
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards and customer requirements.


Required Qualifications

  • Experience installing and servicing CCTV or IP video surveillance systems.
  • Strong Cat6 termination and testing experience.
  • Knowledge of structured cabling and low-voltage infrastructure.
  • Ability to read blueprints, floor plans, and site maps.
  • Experience troubleshooting switches, routers, and wireless networks.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including email, spreadsheets, laptops, and smartphones.
  • Ownership of standard telecommunications tools and PPE.
  • Ability to lift and carry 30โ€“70 pounds.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively nationwide.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Access Control installation experience.
  • Voice and Data cabling experience.
  • Conduit installation experience.
  • BOOM Lift and Scissor Lift certifications.
  • Experience working with MDF/IDF environments and project closeouts
