Job description

Part-Time Cashier

Bowser Automotive in Pleasant Hills is looking for a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Part-Time Cashier to join our team. This position plays a key role in creating a positive first impression for our customers by providing exceptional service both in person and over the phone.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills, along with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced dealership environment. Successful completion of pre-employment screenings is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Process customer cash, credit card, and other payment transactions accurately.
  • Operate credit card terminals and ensure proper transaction handling.
  • Balance the cash drawer and prepare deposits at the end of each shift.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls promptly, professionally, and accurately.
  • Greet customers and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Assist in maintaining a positive customer experience and support dealership Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) goals.
  • Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.

Schedule:

  • Variable hours Monday through Friday
  • Every Saturday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
