Job description

Position Overview  

This position provides significant support for the success of the Women's Lacrosse program. Primary duties are coaching, skill development, recruiting, academic monitoring and development of positive team culture.

Responsibilities 

  • Personal development of student-athletes
  • Contribute to positive team culture
  • Identify, evaluate and recruit students that can succeed at Butler both academically and athletically
  • Build and cultivate relationships with scholastic and non-scholastic coaches
  • Assist with teaching and coaching in team and individual settings
  • Other duties as assigned
     

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Coaching or playing experience. 
  • Knowledge of NCAA Division I, Big East regulations
  • Ability to work effectively with student-athletes, coaches, administrators and staff.
  • Outstanding verbal communication and leadership skills.
