A Day in the Life of an Equipment Wash Bay PRO
As an Equipment Wash Bay PRO, your day is focused on keeping equipment clean, presentable, and ready for customer delivery or pickup.
You may start your day moving equipment into the wash bay, safely positioning machines for cleaning, and preparing them for service return or delivery. Throughout the day, you'll wash and detail equipment, remove dirt and debris, and ensure every machine looks its best before it leaves the dealership.
You'll also help move equipment between the service department, wash bay, and staging areas to keep operations running smoothly. Working closely with the service team, you'll play an important role in making sure customers receive their equipment clean, cared for, and ready to use.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys staying active, takes pride in their work, and understands the importance of first impressions.
Every day is different, but the goal is always the same: make sure every piece of equipment leaves the dealership looking its best.
What You'll Do
As an Equipment Wash Bay PRO, you will:
  • work Wednesday 8AM-5PM, Thursday 8AM-5PM, Saturday 8AM-12PM
  • safely move equipment throughout the dealership, including into and out of the wash bay
  • wash, clean, and detail new and customer-owned equipment
  • remove dirt, mud, grease, and debris to prepare equipment for delivery or pickup
  • operate pressure washers, cleaning tools, and related equipment safely
  • inspect equipment for cleanliness and presentation before it leaves the dealership
  • maintain a clean, safe, and organized wash bay and work area
  • support the service team by moving equipment as needed

What You Need to be a LandPro Equipment Wash Bay PRO:
  • ability to safely move and position equipment
  • ability to operate pressure washers and basic cleaning equipment safely
  • ability to work in a physically active role, standing, walking, and bending for extended periods
  • ability to lift 75 lbs. repeatedly
  • valid driver's license

It's a Plus if You Have:
  • forklift certification or experience
  • experience working around equipment, vehicles, or in a shop environment
  • equipment assembly or mechanical experience
  • experience with agricultural, turf, or heavy equipment
  • experience using dealership or diagnostic software systems
  • technical or vocational training
