Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position details:
  • Per Diem Shift & Schedule: 8 hours/shift, day or night shifts are available
  • Location: Seattle, WA
Responsibilities:
  • Observes, documents, and reports changes in patient activity and/or symptoms such as vital signs, respiration, discomfort, intake, output, weight, and bleeding.
  • Assist with mobility and range of motion exercises.
  • Provide basic wound care and dressing changes as directed by the Registered Nurse
  • Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers, including moving patients to and from bed to the gurney or wheelchair. Transports patients, patient belongings and valuables, blood products, supplies, pharmaceuticals, equipment, and specimens to and from various locations.
  • Comply with all hospital policies and procedures and state and federal regulations related to patient care.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Current Washington state CNA license.
  • Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire.
  • Two (2) positive work references.
  • Complete and pass a background check and drug test.
  • Availability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures.
  • Minimum of 18 months of Hospital experience.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced Hospital environment.
