Lighthouse Care Center of Conway, SC is Hiring!

Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician

Lighthouse Care Center is a private behavioral health facility providing acute inpatient hospitalization for older children & adolescents; adult; and older adult patient populations suffering from psychiatric and substance dependency issues. For adolescents, we also offer residential treatment and group home care services.

Physician positions with Lighthouse offer opportunities for professional and personal growth, working with colleague physicians and clinical staff in a structured multidisciplinary hospital-based behavioral health treatment setting. The ideal candidate will be board certified/eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine and have experience with Mental Health.

Position Details:

  • Admission physicals and daily consult care with follow-ups for patients in behavioral health inpatient treatment.
  • The patient population will include adults, older adults and adolescents with diverse psychiatric and substance-abuse issues.
  • Medical management of routine illnesses as well as some specialty issues is in the scope of patient care under the physician.
  • The Medical Physician position could be either employed with benefits or an independent contractor/1099 arrangement is offered.
  • Part-time schedule; 4–8 shifts per month. No call.
  • There is a full team of diverse Psychiatrists on staff at the hospital for collaboration.
  • The position will be located at our 105 bed behavioral health hospital 12 minutes from the South Carolina beaches in Conway, SC (Myrtle Beach area).
