Job description

Position Summary

Psychotherapy Collective of Atlanta is seeking a part-time Business Development Manager to expand our behavioral health partnerships throughout Metro Atlanta.

This non-clinical position will focus on building relationships with skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, personal care homes, adult day centers, and other healthcare organizations.

The ideal candidate is a strong relationship builder who is comfortable prospecting, meeting with healthcare leaders, presenting services, and developing new facility partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new healthcare facility partnerships throughout Metro-Atlanta, Georgia.
  • Build relationships with administrators, executive directors, social services teams, and other decision-makers.
  • Conduct in-person, phone, and email outreach to prospective partners.
  • Schedule and conduct meetings to present our behavioral health services.
  • Manage prospective accounts from initial contact through agreement and implementation.
  • Maintain relationships with existing facility partners.
  • Track outreach, meetings, proposals, contracts, and pipeline activity.
  • Attend networking and healthcare industry events as appropriate.
  • Travel throughout the Southwest Georgia territory for meetings and facility visits.

Compensation & Performance


Generous Performance Incentives: Additional quarterly incentives based on achievement of business-development goals.

Performance is evaluated based on:

  • New activated facility partnerships
  • Quality and strategic value of partnerships
  • Development of a qualified business-development pipeline
  • Successful launch and retention of new accounts


Goal: 3–5 activated facility partnerships within the first six months, taking into consideration the size and value of each account.

Approved business mileage is reimbursed separately.

This position has the potential to develop into a full-time Business Development Manager role as the Atlanta territory grows.


Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare business development, sales, account management, provider relations, or healthcare operations preferred.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, presentation, and follow-up skills.
  • Comfortable conducting outreach and meeting with healthcare decision-makers.
  • Self-motivated and able to independently manage a pipeline and territory.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Experience with long-term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, behavioral health, home health, hospice, or other healthcare organizations is strongly preferred.
