The business development associate (BDA)
The business development manager exists atQCMG for three main purposes related to our financial and business well-being inrelation to our clients, partnering vendors + organizations, as well internal development of products andservices-as they directly relate to the former two.
CLIENTSIn relation to client, the BDA will develop a client frominitial conception into completion of signed proposal. At QCMG, some of thesecore stages include, but are not limited to:
  • Initial conceptualization andidentification of customers that meet our services range and target sectors
  • Generating qualified leads of profitable +influence-able clients-both financially and over their business lifecycle forthe future
  • Gathering intelligence on customers, makinginitial contact and meeting
  • Identifying clients needs, both short andlong term, connecting them with current (and future) products and services
  • Introduce project to team for estimationand, ensuring accountability in all stages of estimation and up-start.
  • Ensuring all team members and componentsare actually understand, estimated, and adequate for proposal
  • Establishing a professional workflow forestimation, sales inquiry documents, and proposalsin a repeatable, quality-fashion.
  • Convert proposals in sales, ensuringpositive fit for client and QCMG.
  • Stay connected with client, outside ofproject management, ensuring satisfaction and keeping client on "radar" forfuture development, sales of products / services, and partnership.

PARTNERSHIPS, VENDORS + 3rdPARTY ORGANIZATIONSIn addition to a client pipeline of business, the BDA will seekpartnership with complimentary organizations who can benefit from our services.These partnerships can exist on a local, regional, and /or national level. Suchexamples of are, but are not limited to
  • Local Nashville agencies + theirsales/account teams (Nashville Business Journal top 100
  • Local professional business / servicesprovider who are tangent to potential clients each and everyday whom servicethem or provide services

ADVANCEMENT OPPORTUNITIES
PRODUCTThe BDA will also assist with the internal development of theorganization, using the identification of needs as a gauge to ensure thecaliber and scope of our products and services.
STAFF + POTENTIAL PARTNERSDue to the nature of networking, the BDA will make connectionswith other designers, vendors, and potential staff. Employee is encouraged andasked to make introductions based on the caliber and understanding of ourorganization's future needs as appropriate
EVENTS + OCCASIONSBDA will advise where it appropriate and seek out ways toattend, create, or develop events to advance QCMG, increasing visibility,sales, and client solutions.
This includes, but is not limited to: Events, Sponsorship, Education, Community, and Industry presence.
