Job description

Description:

Make a meaningful impact as a Content Creator with Rooted Hospitality Group. Rooted Hospitality Group (RHG, or Rooted) is an award-winning, Long Island-based restaurant hospitality company that has been exceeding customers' expectations for over 10 years.

Are you an influencer, photographer, or videographer looking to trade the hustle of freelancing for a steady gig with a growing hospitality group? RHG is looking for a Content Creator to travel between our restaurants and capture the food, the energy, and the guest experience that make each of our brands unique — working closely with our in-house Editor to bring it all to life on social media.

Job Description

? Travel to RHG restaurant locations to capture high-quality photo and video content showcasing our food, guests, atmosphere, and team;

? Cover live music, special events, and other happenings, primarily during evening and weekend hours;

? Partner closely with our Editor, supplying raw footage and photos that align with each brand's voice and content calendar;

? Work collaboratively within a team dynamic — taking direction well while bringing fresh, creative ideas to every shoot;

? Represent RHG with a hospitable, guest-first mindset on location, always prioritizing guest comfort and experience;

? Stay on top of social media trends across Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms to keep content fresh and engaging.

Requirements:

Requirements

  • Strong photography and videography background — portfolio required;
  • Social media savvy, with a good eye for content that performs and resonates online;
  • Creative and adaptable, with the ability to work well within a team and take direction;
  • Reliable transportation to travel between locations;
  • Available evenings and weekends to cover live music and special events;
  • Positive, hospitable, guest-first attitude;
  • Passion for content creation — current influencers and creators are encouraged to apply.

Working Conditions / Compensation

  • Part-time, approximately 15–20 hours per week;
  • On location at RHG restaurants across Long Island; majority of hours will be evenings and weekends to cover events;
  • A great opportunity to build a steady income while gaining hands-on experience and insight into the hospitality industry from an established, award-winning organization.

As a member of the RHG team, you are an ambassador of our brands. You are passionate about your role and always curious about how to make a guest's experience memorable. You are naturally a social person and your welcoming expression makes each guest feel like they are the only person in the room. It comes naturally to you...it's in your DNA. Their first impression of RHG is a lasting one, and it starts with you.
