Part-Time Bookkeeper (QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise)

Location: Marietta
Schedule: 2 days per week, Flexible Schedule
Pay: $30/hour

Position Overview

We are hiring a Part-Time Bookkeeper for a small manufacturing plant in Marietta. This is an in-office position.

The ideal candidate must have experience with QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise tailored for manufacturing, including specialized tools for managing production and inventory.

This role is primarily responsible for computing, classifying, and recording financial transactions to ensure the organization's financial records are accurate. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational, communication, time management, and computer skills. They must be accurate, thorough, detail-oriented, and disciplined. QuickBooks Desktop experience is required.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Record day-to-day and monthly transactions
  • Reconcile bank accounts at the end of each month
  • Run financial statements
  • Review bills and reconcile credit card receipts
  • Process payroll
  • Work with external accountants
  • Handle invoicing and receiving
  • Interface with the accounting firm for month-end closing and tax issues
  • Assist the Managing Director with cash flow statements and other tasks

Qualifications

  • MUST have experience with QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise (Manufacturing and Inventory)
  • Several years of experience with Excel
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles and tax principles
  • Three years of bookkeeping experience
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Two years of ADP experience
  • Accounting degree or Business Administration degree required
