Are you passionate about creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests? We're seeking a customer-focused individual to join our team as a Hotel Guest Services Representative. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in ensuring their stay is enjoyable and memorable. If you have a friendly demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate cord or cordless switchboard courteously and precisely to relay incoming, outgoing, and interoffice calls.
  • Maintain knowledge of all in-house services and answer guest inquiries.
  • Make Resort reservations and input them into the computer as required.
  • Check guests in and out efficiently and in a friendly manner.
  • Make follow-up courtesy calls.
  • Post guest charges and compute guest bills using Opera PMS.
  • Collect payment and handle cash/credit card transactions per Little Creek Casino Resort procedures.
  • Handle requests for wake-up calls.
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of Resort room locations, rates, amenities, and selling strategies.
  • Enroll new members in the MVP program as requested.
  • Block rooms and manage special requests.
  • Handle safe deposit boxes for guests per established procedures.
  • Keep the lobby and desk areas clean, presentable, and well-organized.
  • Perform shift start-up and end duties; make cash drops.
  • Complete daily transaction journal for Income Audit; ensure all credit cards, cash, and change funds are balanced throughout each shift.
Requirements:

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Prior experience within the hospitality industry preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
