Speech/Language Pathologist (Extended School Year)

New Shoreham School Department Block Island School - Block Island, Rhode Island

Extended school year, approximately 1 hour, 1 day a week, beginning Monday, July 6 through Friday July 31, 2026. Position Type: Summer Job Categories: Student Services > Speech/Language Pathologist

Block Island is a small island located approximately 12 miles off the southern coast of Rhode Island. Our school district is comprised of one school. The Block Island School houses grades K-12 and has a student population of approximately 123 students. Block Island is accessible by boat or plane. Full-time employees must live on the island during the school year/week because of the limited ferry schedule.

Job Requirements:

  • RI certification required.
  • Bachelor degree preferred.
  • Citizenship, residency or work visa required
