Job Summary
Wilson Community College is seeking to expand our pool of part-time/adjunct faculty for when a job is available to be filled for clinical or class instruction. These positions may or may not be available at this time; however, after a review of qualifications, applicants may be contacted in the future. Part-time/adjunct faculty provide quality, effective instruction in assigned courses on a part-time, temporary basis. Only qualified, credentialed applicants will be considered.
The Adjunct/Part-time BioWork Instructor serves as an instructor in the continuing education and/or curriculum division in the assigned program or discipline.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology, Biology, or related field from a regionally accredited institution AND two years of work experience in a science related occupation are required.
Current/valid BioWork Certificate or completed BioTech Training Course is required.
Master's Degree in Biotechnology, Biology, or related field from a regionally accredited institution is preferred.
Community College teaching experience is preferred.
