Job description

Position Summary

CFCA is seeking on-call, part-time Substitute Teachers for the upcoming school year and beyond. Substitute Teachers provide classroom instruction in the absence of the regular teacher, supporting CFCA’s commitment to excellence in both academics and spiritual formation.

This position offers flexible, as-needed scheduling with no guaranteed hours. Applicants must be available to work during regular school hours (Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM) when called upon.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver classroom instruction based on teacher-provided lesson plans and materials

  • Maintain a safe, orderly, and respectful classroom environment

  • Support the spiritual and academic mission of CFCA by integrating a biblical worldview into instruction

  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and administrators

  • Follow all school policies, procedures, and classroom expectations

  • Adapt to a variety of subjects and grade levels (K–12), as needed

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

  • Ability to sign and affirm CFCA’s Statement of Faith

  • Active membership in a Bible-believing Christian church

  • Willingness to uphold and promote the school’s Christ-centered mission and values

  • Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
