The BCBA will provide person-driven behavior day services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities who have an identified need for additional behavior support.

As the BCBA, you will be responsible for:
Behavior Services

  • Conducts functional behavior assessments for assigned participants.
  • Designs and implements behavior intervention plans that are reviewed and updated annually (or as needed) through a person-driven planning process.
  • Provides and documents service hours sufficient to satisfy all individualized service authorizations and other regulatory requirements. 
  • Provides direct support as needed to maintain adequate supervision and quality of services. 
Staff Training and Supervision
  • Provides adequate supervision and training for direct support staff with regards to the implementation of behavior intervention plans, data collection, and other behavior analytic responsibilities.  
  • Provides supervision to staff accruing supervised field experience toward BCBA certification (if eligible to do so and in compliance with all BACB requirements). 
  • Contributes to the content and delivery of required 40-hour behavior-focused staff training, as assigned by Director of Day Programs.
  • Conducts regular quality check observations and assessments to ensure procedural fidelity of behavior service delivery, addresses performance issues related to behavior service delivery through remediation plans and retraining.   
Data Analysis and Documentation
  • Creates, updates, and maintains materials needed for service delivery, including but not limited to: data collection tools, communication tools, visual schedules, etc. 
  • Maintains data collection system; conducts weekly data collection audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepares semi-annual (or as needed) progress reports including graphing, analyzing data, and making data-driven clinical recommendations. 
  • Maintains complete, accurate, and up-to-date records of behavior plans and services. 

Schedule:

  • Part-time -15 to 20 hours per week
  • Program hours: M-F, 8:00am - 4:00pm

Compensation:

  • Starting at $45 - $50/hour (dependent upon prior experience and qualifications).

Qualifications:

  • Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good, active standing with the BACB including the 8-hour supervision training certification (required).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience providing BCBA services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (preferred). 
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in an adult day program (preferred).
  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) Certification in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (required, or must obtain within 30-days of hire).
  • CPR/First Aid Certification (required, or must obtain within 30-days of hire).
  • Bilingual Spanish, preferred.
  • Proof of Criminal Background Clearance.
  • Proof of a passing physical exam and TB clearance.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
