About the Role

The Juice Bar Cashier provides exceptional customer service in the Juice Bar department by preparing, serving, and processing customer orders quickly and accurately. This role ensures that all Juice Bar items are fresh, appealing, and compliant with food safety standards. The Juice Bar Cashier also maintains a clean, organized, and inviting department while modeling Vallartas core values: customer service, commitment, integrity, respect, humility, and teamwork.

What Youll Do

  • Accurately prepare, package, weigh, and price food and beverage orders.

  • Operate cash registers, scales, and equipment to process transactions quickly and accurately.

  • Balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift and follow cash handling procedures.

  • Prepare fresh Juice Bar food and drinks, ensuring consistent taste, appearance, and portion sizes.

  • Rotate and replenish products to maintain freshness and food safety compliance.

  • Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the Juice Bar area.

  • Greet customers, promote products through suggestive selling, and provide guidance on recipes and options.

  • Notify management when supplies or ingredients are low.

  • Abide by health code and safety regulations, ensuring sanitation and personal hygiene standards are met.

  • Follow Vallartas dress code and uphold a professional appearance.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements

  • Stand and walk constantly (68 hours/day).

  • Frequently bend, squat, twist, and reach above/below shoulders.

  • Frequent use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation.

  • Lift and carry 1125 lbs. frequently and up to 32 lbs. occasionally (e.g., Agua Fresca jar, 5 ft. distance).

  • Work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Exposure to perishable food and varying temperatures/humidity.

  • Knowledge of food preparation, product presentation, and quality control.
