About Us :
We are a startup founded by ex-Amazon and Intel employees.
Neptune.io is SaaS platform that auto-remediates IT monitoring alerts. Neptune sits on top of existing monitoring systems such as Amazon CloudWatch, NewRelic etc, and takes automated actions when alerts come, thus improving DevOps productivity and saving costs.

Software Engineer, Distributed systems (Full-time or Part-time or Intern)
Requirements:
  • Expert software development experience in Java
  • Extensive knowledge of Unix/Linux
  • Experience with AWS EC2, AWS S3, DynamoDB is a plus
  • Familiarity with distributed data management, design/implementation tradeoffs in building high-performance, fault-tolerant distributed systems
  • Education: BS/ MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field
  • Most important of all, you enjoy building a bootstrapped startup from ground-up

Responsibilities:
  • Building distributed systems software
  • Improving performance and scalability
  • Diagnosing and debugging complex issues
  • Recruit and build the team with rockstars like you
