What You'll Do
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laboratory Assistant to join our Laboratory Services Team. The ideal candidate will support daily lab operations, ensure efficient workflow, and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked laboratory environment.
The Laboratory Aide provides support for the department including ordering, receiving and distribution of laboratory materials. This position assists pathologists with autopsy procedures, prepares microbiological media and laboratory solutions and performs instrument maintenance and record keeping for specific instruments. This position has access to confidential financial and patient information. It does not have patient care or access to funds.
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Laboratory experience or materials management experience preferred
