Job description

We are a systems integration and engineering services company with a passion for tearing down industrial inefficiencies. RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers to set up, prepare, and manage construction drawings
  • Prepare dimensional drawings and modify base files using AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Revise and update existing drawings to reflect design changes
  • Create and maintain electronic file structures and naming conventions in accordance with company standards
  • Prepare project documents from start to finish with professional-quality output
  • Manage multiple active projects and meet deadlines efficiently
  • Adhere to CAD standards (Tetra Tech or client-specific)
  • Work collaboratively on drawings that meet and exceed client requirements during bid and submittal phases.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:
  • Associate degree in CAD Drafting or a related field, or completion of a certified Autodesk Civil 3D training program, plus at least five years of relevant work experience
  • Proven proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D for civil design, including feature lines, grading objects, survey points, profiles, surfaces, and pipe networks
  • Experience using Civil 3D labels
  • Excellent communication skills - interpersonal, listening, oral, and written
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and general PC usage
  • Knowledge of standard drafting practices and procedures
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage time effectively
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time
  • Occasional site or office visits may be required to coordinate with project teams or review design documentation
  • Work is typically performed in a professional office environment using a computer for extended periods, with a moderate noise level.

  • Must be a detail-oriented, results-driven individual with a commitment to quality, accuracy, with the ability to organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal and excellent communication (written and oral) skills.

  • Must be able to work collaboratively and cooperatively, take direction, work well in a team environment, and interact with all levels of management, engineering, systems, operations and field personnel.
  • Ability to multitask and demonstrate flexibility in managing multiple projects.
