Culinary Services Group is hiring immediately for an Area Manager position.

  • Location: Springfield, MA 
  • Schedule: M-F 
  • Requirement: Multi Unit Healthcare Managment Experience 
  • Pay Range: $105,000 - $125,000 per year

In this role, you will oversee the operations of multiple foodservice locations, ensuring that CSG programs, services, guiding principles, and strategic initiatives are successfully implemented and sustained. Reporting directly to the Regional Director of Operations, you'll serve as a key connector between Home Office teams and field operations, helping to drive excellence across compliance, financial performance, team development, and client satisfaction.

You will lead efforts to monitor program effectiveness, strengthen clinical collaboration, and driving process improvements. As a hands-on leader, you will support Food Service Directors and their teams through recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing development. Your leadership will be instrumental in supporting operational performance, developing high-performing teams, and executing company-wide strategies.

Job Summary

Job Summary:

Working as a District Manager, you are responsible for multiple College and University dining accounts. You will manage and lead a team of Resident District Managers and Directors of Dining Services. You will be responsible for managing client relations, along with ensuring that the food offered to the customers is of superior quality.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Monitors the overall financial performance of the accounts to ensure profitability
  • Ensures consistent and fair administration of personnel policies
  • Manages planning, budget analysis and reporting for the region
  • Participates in the sales process to grow the region

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • BS Degree preferred
  • Five to seven years of contract foodservice management experience
  • Higher Education background preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Financial acumen
  • Multi-unit experience is preferred
