Job Description: Part-time Area Supervisor of School Crossing Guards
Location: Urbandale, IA
ACMS is looking for a dedicated individual to join our leadership team in Urbandale! Leadership is the heart of our mission, "Keeping Kids Safe". The Leadership Team overseeing and managing their local School Crossing Guard programs, in this field-based position.
What we are looking for in our Leadership:
  • Be self-motivated and dependable.
  • Be a personable, friendly and passionate leader.
  • Demonstrate good oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have reliable transportation and clean driving record.
  • Able to lift/ transport various items or equipment weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Must be available to work with crossing guards at their field assignments both before and after school.
  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills are required.

This position often requires short response times to the job site so candidates residing in Urbandale are preferred. This is a seasonal and part-time position that follows the school calendar - no work during summer, school breaks, holidays, or teacher workdays.
Compensation is $23.50 an hour, 3.5 hours a day, on school days only. Cell phone, tablet and mileage reimbursement provided. Position is eligible for yearly bonus.
