About this opportunity:

The Department of Architecture at Ball State University seeks applicants for multiple part-time semester instructor positions available August 2026.
Please note that applications will remain active for 1 year. Therefore, if you apply for this position, you may not hear from the department until there is a need to hire an instructor.

What you'll do and what you'll bring:

Position Description: This part-time adjunct instructor will teach either design or studio courses to undergraduate and graduate students in the Department of Architecture. Duties and responsibilities will include providing timely feedback and midterm grades to students.

Minimum Qualifications: An accredited Master of Architecture degree, master degree of specialization within the discipline of Architecture, or Bachelor of Architecture degree from an accredited institution, or candidate may qualify based on Tested Experience Criteria.

Preferred Qualifications: Professional license in Architecture; Master degree in Architecture or related field from an accredited college or university; evidence of quality of design work; evidence of contributions to the profession through professional practice and service; a record of quality teaching experience; evidence of quality scholarship; experience with contemporary design media.

Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
