Job description

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for the supervision and archery specific instruction, providing a safe and fun learning environment for children and adults. This is an at-will position.
  • Organize and prepare lesson plans in a fun and creative manner.
  • Lead participants in outdoor archery recreation programs.
  • Prepare and submit program related reports.
  • Monitors condition of equipment and facility.
  • Gain knowledge and understanding of Park District policies and procedures and see that they are adhered to at all times

Qualifications:
  • Minimum one year previous teaching/coaching experience.
  • Knowledge of archery form and skills, and basic knowledge of archery equipment maintenance.
  • Must have knowledge and ability to teach techniques of archery while maintaining a safe environment for all.
  • Archery teaching certification from a nationally recognized organization preferred but not required.

Schedule & Pay Rate: Varied hours available and corresponding with experience. Hiring range is between $15.00 - $18.00 per hour, DOQ.
