The Role:

Indie Consulting is seeking an experienced and highly organized Amazon Media Specialist to lead the planning, execution, and optimization of media campaigns across the Amazon ecosystem for a leading consumer brand.


This role is responsible for driving full-funnel retail media performance, spanning strategic planning, budget management, campaign optimization, and stakeholder communication. The ideal candidate combines analytical precision with strong communication skills and can clearly present insights and recommendations to cross-functional partners and senior stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities


Strategic Planning Execution

  • Lead the development and execution of Amazon media strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and performance goals
  • Plan and oversee go-to-market strategies for product launches and key retail events
  • Proactively identify growth opportunities, risks, and performance trends within the Amazon media landscape
  • Support annual and quarterly planning processes with data-driven recommendations

Budget Performance Management

  • Own monthly and quarterly budgeting processes, ensuring investments align to defined KPIs
  • Build and communicate clear budget pacing, forecasting, and investment plans
  • Monitor spend, evaluate performance, and implement optimizations to drive efficiency and return on investment
  • Translate performance results into actionable insights and present findings to key stakeholders

Product Launch

  • Manage deliverables and timelines for product launches and seasonal campaigns
  • Ensure campaign strategies, budgets, and creative assets are finalized ahead of execution
  • Track deliverables and performance, optimizing throughout the campaign lifecycle

Cross-Functional Collaboration Communication

  • Serve as the primary point of contact across internal client teams, agencies, and Amazon partners

  • Deep analytical skills and the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills; comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities within a part-time, embedded capacity
